Make Traffic Travis work without a proxy
Traffic Travis no longer seems to work efficiently unless you use a proxy. I also use other stand-alone software for keyword research that do not require proxies.
You don't need proxies to run TT. However, if you are doing a lot of searches, we recommend purchasing and adding 3–10 working proxies.
Most free proxies will not work with Traffic Travis due to several reasons. A lot of these free proxies are also unreliable, as they are used by multiple users at the same time. Using free proxies is not advised essentially because they get abused and if they are overused, Google still blocks the IP they are associated with.
If using a proxy server is necessary, we strongly suggest that you use the paid proxy service provided in Traffic Travis 4 (File -> Program Options -> Internet).
You can add proxies by opening TT and going to File -> Program Options -> Internet. You will see the Proxy Settings box where you can type in your proxies. Enter the proxy server details in this format: Host:Port:Username:Password.
Make sure that you save your proxy settings.
