If you have Traffic Travis version 220.127.116.1106 or higher, then simply click the blue "Reset the code" text indicated in the screenshot below. Follow the prompts and a new code will be emailed to the address you used to sign up for Traffic Travis.
If you are using an earlier version of the software or don't see the "Reset the code" link, please contact our support team and they will reset it for you. You should also contact support if you can't remember which email address you used to register or don't receive the email with the new code.
After re-registering the software, be sure to check for the yellow "Apply Update" button in the lower-left corner of your screen and click on it if it appears. Updating to the latest version will allow you to reset your own code in the future so you don't have to contact support and wait for assistance.
Three things can cause this error:
- Installing the program on more than two (2) computers.
- Running the program on one computer from more than two (2) IP addresses.
- Installing the program more than three (3) times on one computer.
Generally, this error only occurs when you attempt an installation. After you have installed the program, you should be able to use it from multiple IP addresses or a dynamic IP with no trouble.
