How do I update the data on my dashboard?

Traffic Travis automatically updates the data on your dashboard according to your update settings. If you are not getting current data, please check if you are using the latest version of Traffic Travis.

To see what is currently updating and to view the queue of updates, please open "Background tasks," found in the bottom right of the main Traffic Travis window.

You will then see a popup that looks like this:

Please also make sure that you open Traffic Travis in time for the scheduled update. TTv4 must be running to fetch your data. If it's not running, then it won't be able to save any data.

You can check and edit your project update settings by editing your project. To do this, click on the pencil-and-paper icon below your project's name and go to the "Update Settings" section.

On some tools you will be able to disable auto-updates. On others, you can only change the time period. Learn more about configuring your projects' update settings here.

To force an update of your website info, please go to the My Site tab. Click on the checkbox in the upper left in order to select all of your pages, then click on the "Update" icon found at the bottom of the screen.

If you need to update the SEO Rankings data on the dashboard, go to SEO > Rankings. Select all of the keywords you'd like to update your data for and click the "Update" button. (Hint: You can select all of your keywords at once by checking the box at the top of the checkbox column again.)

Make sure that the all the rankings are updated without being blocked by search engines. If the rankings update does not finish because search engines block you, then you should add working proxies and remove all bad proxies. Then try to update the data again.

You should remove all of your blocked proxies until they are no longer blocked. Please note that we don't recommend using free proxies. They are easily blocked and won't work if you request too much data, so Google will still block the IP they are associated with.
